STULZ-PLANAQUA brings biogas plants in operation!

The plants were built according to the high of the Endi Loick Bioenergy technical standard. The total value is EURO 8.5 million.

Odendorf biogas plant, 500 kWel., constructions time 6 months.

Only renewable raw materials are used in the biogas plant to produce electricity and heat, afterwards to be applied as a high quality fertilizer on adjacent fields. The plant operators see the investment as another important pillar in strengthening their own enterprise and hence also the region.

Lustadt biogas plant, 2.1 MWel, construction time 9 months.

The process runs on the flow principle and includes substrate preparation, fermentation, gas storage and gas utilisation by two CHPs. Year-round heat consumption is guaranteed by a nearby nursery. At a present five million kWh of heat for the cultivation of seedlings and vegetables, potential savings of more than 30% is guaranteed by using high-quality and redundant biogas plant components.

Teterow biogas plant, 2.2 MWel., construction time 9 months.

The biogas generated is fed, after drying and pressure increase, over a 1.7 km long gas pipeline to decentralised combined heat and power plants (CHP) of the public utility company. The regional energy supply of the current required 13 MW thermal is increasingly substituted by renewable energies. The waste heat of the three decentralised CHPs is also fed into the existing district heating system of the Teterow public utility company. Thus the biogas plant can cover the heat demand of 160 single family homes.
